Big deep voice, intricate finger-picked guitar, whistling harmonica…and armed with a diverse knowledge of folk and country music. I do the classics like Dirty Old Town, Country Roads, Streets of London, Whiskey in the Jar…Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen…

I also do the old forgotten, atmospheric ballads like The Trees They Do Grow High, Lady Franklin’s Lament, Hang Me Oh Hang Me…

And I play my own songs – hard-hitting lyrics, mystical melodies, and full-flavoured feelings. Songs designed to tell you more than any book or experience ever could – direct to the heart and by-passing the brain.
